Engage with Latham Student Science Communication Projects and Win Prizes!

The Latham Science Engagement Initiative (LSEI) is a two-course fellowship program that promotes science communication and outreach. Each spring, students in LATH:3001 create outreach projects such as podcasts, books, Instagram accounts, brochures and other projeccts.

The 2025 Dare to Discover Campaign, sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Research, features four students in two programs (UI-MARC and Latham) housed in the Iowa Sciences Academy. The four students are Seren Castellano, Jasmyn Hoeger, Natalie Kehrli, and Lydia Karr.
