The Iowa Sciences Academy offers several opportunities to participate in research during the summer. This year, twenty-eight students are participating in summer research experiences either on campus or off campus. This article features the summer research experiences of three students in the MARC program: Fabiola Castaneda-Santiago (Biology), Liz Elias (Computer Science and Microbiology), and Klaertje Hesselink (Chemical & Biochemical Engineering).

Meet Dr. Susan Meerdink, an ISA mentor and Assistant Professor in the Department of Geographical and Sustainability Sciences within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Students attended the ISA Graduation at the IMU on May 3rd, 2024, for thirteen graduating seniors.

Science Alliance students Quinn Eldridge and Krishna Bharadwaj are recognized for their research in the ISA's Science Alliance Internship Program.
