On May 3rd we recognized 13 ISA graduating seniors at a celebration held in the Iowa Memorial Union (IMU). Graduating seniors, their mentors, other ISA students and staff attended the event. Guest speaker Dr. Ece Demir Lira with the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences and the Department of Pediatrics addressed the group sharing experiences along with advice for the students. Our graduates were presented with completion certificates by ISA Director Lori Adams and Associate Director Kristina Venzke. We also recognized students participating in the Peer Mentoring program and thanked ISA graduate assistants Hailey Kingsbury, Briante Najev, and Jacob Payne for their contributions this past academic year. Everyone enjoyed the celebration including the delicious food catered by the IMU staff!
