Student Benefits (Science Alliance Internship)
Those admitted to the Science Alliance Internship Program will receive:
- assistance in matching with a research mentor (if not matched already)
- competitive hourly wages for hands-on undergraduate research experience (10-12 hours per week during academic year; minimum of 20 hours per week in summer)
- coursework in science communication, critical analysis of primary literature, preparing for grad school, professionalism in the sciences, and teaching your research.
- access to career counseling
- opportunity to participate in the peer mentoring program
- financial support for travel to science conferences where students present their research (depending on availability of funds)
- opportunity to apply to the ISA Summer Research Program
