Congratulations to ISA student Klaertje Hesselink, who received an NSF-GRFP award and was selected as a finalist for a research grant through the Fulbright student program to Germany. In her first year with ISA, Klaertje earned a prestigious NIH T34 Undergraduate Training Grant Fellowship, and during her second year she was a research intern in the Science Alliance program.
The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) is one of the nation's most prestigious fellowship programs, providing three years of financial support to graduate students who have demonstrated potential for significant achievements in research.
In partnership with more than 140 countries worldwide, the Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers unparalleled opportunities to advance knowledge and innovation across all academic disciplines. Awards are available to passionate and accomplished graduating college seniors, graduate students, and young professionals from all backgrounds.
