Yamam Hussien is a neuroscience major (pre-med) expected to graduate in Spring 2025. This fall, she will start her Master’s in Public Health, focusing on the intersection of neurological factors and community health through her research at the Hultman Lab. Yamam plans to complete her MPH by Spring 2026 and pursue an MD. She is passionate about effective communication and public outreach in healthcare, which motivates her interest in the Latham Fellows program to learn how to share scientific information that empowers communities.
