My name is Gabriella Snyder, and I am a fourth-year double major in anthropology and biology, with an anticipated graduation date in May 2024. I am a part of Drew Kitchen's Evolutionary and Biological Anthropology lab. My research is focused on characterizing the genetic variation upstream of the AVPR1a gene, which has been implicated in pair bonding and romantic love. I was interested in Latham because I firmly believe scientific knowledge should be equitable and palatable to all demographics. I want my future career to emerge from this conviction of mine, so perhaps I'll attend graduate school for genetic counseling.
