My name is Aayusha Adhikari, and I am currently double majoring in Human Physiology and Ethics and Public Policy. I am working toward getting research experience in integrative medicine, and I am overall interested in topics related to health equity, preventative medicine, and science journalism. I am on the Pre-medical track, but I would like to find a career path that allows me to intertwine the disciplines of Political Science, Economics, Philosophy, and Medicine to grass-root for change in our public policy. I was instantly drawn to the Latham Fellowship when I realized that it was a place where I could carry out projects with the support and freedom to intertwine all of my interests as well as learn valuable skills to solidify a career in science.
