Maurine Neiman and the Iowa City Science Boosters Club teamed up with the Virginia-based non-profit organization Families Fighting Flu to create a virtual game to raise flu awareness!

Several IBA students from the Neiman Lab helped with creating Flu's Clues which contains important lessons about viruses in general, such as how to identify symptoms, determine differences between the flu and other viruses, and learn how vaccines are made.  Check out Chelsey Higgens (IBA Alumni and current iBio Graduate Student) and Josie Bliss (Current IBA Scholar) as they take you around the world to India, Nigeria, Argentina and Taiwan to identify influenza outbreaks and help to design a vaccine to save lives!
