My name is Sabrina Vlk and I am a 5th year Mechanical Engineering Major and Math Minor, expected to graduate Spring 2025. Throughout undergrad, I have had a very interdisciplinary experience in research, working at the Driving Safety Research Institute, the Performing Arts Division's Virtual Reality and Motion Capture Studio, Applied Cognitive Engineering Lab, and Cooperative Autonomous Systems Lab. My future plans include staying at the University of Iowa for a Ph.D. and continue with research. I hope that through the Latham Fellows program, I can learn to better communicate my research to the public and help recruit more women into STEM fields and the world of scientific research!
