Riley is a transfer student from Eastern Iowa Community Colleges and is studying biomedical sciences at the University of Iowa. At the Marcinkiewcz Lab, Riley loves his work—learning about the neurodegenerative and serotonergic effects of alcohol dependency through ex vivo electrophysiology, in vivo fiber photometry, and immunohistochemistry. Outside of the lab, Riley likes listening to music, weightlifting, and spending time with his family and friends.
