Biography

Student Mentee(s): Elizabeth Elias

Dr. Quelle's laboratory studies mechanisms of cancer cell proliferation and survival with the goal of translating that knowledge to the clinic. Her research is focused on identifying new biomarkers for cancer diagnosis, prognosis and monitoring as well as new targets for novel anti-cancer therapies. Her investigations are highly collaborative and benefit from the input and expertise of both basic and clinical scientists. Her laboratory is funded to investigate mechanisms by which an oncogenic GTPaste, named RABL6A, drives the pathogenesis of neuroendocrine tumors and malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors.
