Professor Bryan Phillips

Join Professor Phillips for an engaging workshop on the responsible conduct of research, focusing on ethics, rigor, and reproducibility in scientific research that involves model organisms. As a Professor of Biology, Professor Phillips brings extensive expertise in cell and developmental biology. He will discuss the challenges and best practices in maintaining ethical standards and ensuring reproducibility in scientific research that involves model organisms. Professor Phillips is also the Assistant Director of the UI Interdisciplinary Genetics Graduate Program and will share more information about this program at the event. This event will take place on Thursday, October 17th, from 5:00pm to 6:30pm on the 3rd Floor of the Sciences Library (120 East Iowa Avenue). Food will be provided!

This event is required for UI-MARC Trainees, LSAMP and Science Alliance students.  Latham students and other interested U of Iowa students are also welcome to attend.
