As a Professor of Biology, Professor Phillips brings extensive expertise in cell and developmental biology. He will discuss the challenges and best practices in maintaining ethical standards and ensuring reproducibility in scientific research that involves model organisms. Professor Phillips is also the Assistant Director of the UI Interdisciplinary Genetics Graduate Program and will share more information about this program at the event.
