The Latham Science Engagement Initiative is accepting submissions for publication in Synthesis: A Digital Journal of Student Science Communication.
Synthesis publishes exemplary science communication pieces. The Digital Edition format allows you to submit writing, audio projects, video projects, multimedia projects, or web-based writing with embedded links and media with no publication fees! Synthesis is focused on publishing multimedia science and community engagement project documentation.
If you have any work of interest that you would like published, please submit your work to https://pubs.lib.uiowa.edu/synthesis/submissions/. The deadline to submit material for our next issue is February 5th!
Synthesis has a student-run editorial review process. Reviewers will select work that aligns with the philosophy of the Synthesis journal and has strong potential for publication. Following review, those selected for potential publication will be invited to work with the co-editors of the Digital Edition: Lori Adams, Kelley Withers, Briante Najev, and Lorena Tran. The editors will work closely with authors through a revision process. Those authors whose final revisions are appropriate for publication will be included in the third edition of Synthesis.
Please contact one of the editors if you have any questions:
