ISA Students Present Research Posters at SURC 2024

Twenty-one ISA students presented twenty posters at the 2024 Summer Undergraduate Research Conference (SURC). ISA ran a poster competition with competitive judging. Five students placed as winners - Lily Shaefer (1st), Lee Flores (2nd), Natalie Kehrli (3rd), and Bhoomika Shettigar and Adriana Castellano tied for an Honorable Mention (4th). Congrats to all who presented!

ISA Student Summer Research Experiences

The Iowa Sciences Academy offers several opportunities to participate in research during the summer. This year, twenty-eight students are participating in summer research experiences either on campus or off campus. This article features the summer research experiences of three students in the MARC program: Fabiola Castaneda-Santiago (Biology), Liz Elias (Computer Science and Microbiology), and Klaertje Hesselink (Chemical & Biochemical Engineering).
