Bryan Guevara (Junior - Biology) started as a Science Alliance Intern during the Fall of his sophomore year. He was accepted as an IBA-Scholar over the summer and fall, and he was one of the first students accepted into the new IBA-MARC Program. This semester, Bryan will be serving as a Peer Mentor for some of our newest students!

He started out his undergraduate research in the Dao-Fu Dai Lab. He is currently in the Neiman Lab where he is researching the evolution of sexual reproduction using the New Zealand Mudsnail (Potamopyrgus antipodarum).

We asked Bryan about his experiences with the new IBA-MARC Program:

"The IBA-MARC Program has granted me opportunities that I would've never imagined myself ever even having the chance to do."
