The American Association of Biological Anthropologists (AABA) is the world's leading professional organization for biological anthropologists. ISA student Seren Castellano attended the AABA Conference in Baltimore from March 12th-15th. On her experience, Seren says, "Attending the conference was such a rewarding experience as I got to meet like-minded scientists and researchers from across the nation, and even from other parts of the world! It made me realize what I want to focus more on in the future and was a pivotal experience in deciding which specific discipline I want to focus on for graduate school. Overall, I am glad I attended this year and hope to present a poster next year at AABA Denver!"
