My name is Nathan Clack, and I'm a biochemistry major who's planning to graduate in May of 2024. Currently, I'm in the Pufall Lab in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department, studying the effects of transcription factor binding on UV-induced damage to DNA. I hope to get a PhD and later teach at a university or work in the pharmaceutical industry. I'm interested in the Latham Fellows program because I've always enjoyed mentoring, and I am convinced that having a public with a strong understanding of science is key for innovation and for public health initiatives to be effective.
