Lauren is a third-year undergraduate studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Iowa. In the Tan Lab, she investigates the mechanisms of JC polyomavirus trafficking to the brain by investigating immune cells that may harbor the virus. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
