Biography
Dr. Stapleton’s research interests focus on the molecular biology of virus interference with human immune responses. His laboratory studies several positive strand RNA viruses including HIV, hepatitis C virus, human pegivirus (formerly GB virus C), yellow fever virus, SARS-CoV-2, and dengue viruses. In addition, he contributes to a variety of vaccine and HIV-related clinical trials.
