Riley is a transfer student from Eastern Iowa Community Colleges and is studying biomedical sciences at the University of Iowa. At the Marcinkiewcz Lab, Riley is exploring the neurodegenerative and serotonergic effects of Alzheimer's Disease and alcohol dependency through ex vivo electrophysiology, iDISCO, in vivo fiber photometry, and immunohistochemistry. Outside of the lab, Riley likes listening to rock music, weightlifting, and spending time with his family and friends.
