Biography

Briante Najev earned her B.S. in Wildlife Ecology at the University of Maine in 2016. She earned an M.S. in Biology at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley underneath the guidance of Dr. Kathryn Perez with a focus on conservation biology. She is a fourth-year doctoral student in the Neiman lab researching ecological constraints on genome size evolution.
